Mathcad worksheets can
include both two-dimensional plots and threedimensional
plots. Unlike the two-dimensional plots, which work with
range variables and functions, three-dimensional plots
require a matrix of values. This chapter shows how a matrix
can be represented as a surface plot in which you see a
three-dimensional illustration of its values.
This chapter describes how to create, use, and format
three-dimensional surface plots. The chapters that follow
describe how to work with other typ es ofthree-dimensional
plots.
